Would NOT recommend. Poor room with uncomfortable beds, each room has a back porch but with little privacy open spots let neighboring rooms see right in. Staff is lousy left to go to the park and came back to 1 of the 3 beds made. Above all else and probably the worse is the owner who I witnessed cursing at a guest. I'd recommend the Waters Edge Inn before you ever think of staying here....
The person I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and condescending. I called to unfortunately cancel my reservation and let her know that I just cancelled through the booking site, but was double checking that cancellation came through on their end so I would not be charged the $161 stay fee. She responded that I needed to cancel through the booking site and not with her. I repeated myself that I did cancel with the booking site but wanted to make sure they received the cancellation. She tells me AGAIN that I needed to cancel with the booking site and that there was no need for the customer to even call them. It was as if she did not even hear what I said at all! As someone who frequently visits the Adirondack area, I genuinely believe the area is filled with well cared for and managed businesses. This is my first truly poor experience. Shame. To top it all off! She responded to my review on Facebook with the same repeated nonsense and block my ability to comment back. A real shake my head moment.
Stayed here for a 4day mini vacation recently, even though the pool was out of commission and our ac in the bedroom didn't work. The staff was very pleasant offering to move us into different room and giving us two fans to use. Very nice walking distance to nearby shops, restaurants, and the splash park! Also has a nice beach front location with playground. Very family friendly. Just wish the guests could have access to the little game room on late nights especially with the pool being out of commission. The beds are a bit lumpy and rough. You definitely feel it the next morning. But sure beats sleeping on the ground!
Stayed one night. The guys a couple of doors down were so loud!!! Couldnt complain office closed at 9. And then my son woke up with bites all over him. The rooms i was in needs some help the wall paper is peeling. But its a place to sleep if you dont care. Cool thing was a deer was right inside the parking area!
The motel was clean, quiet and peaceful. It was a great location, right on the beach. We stayed in a suite that has a couch and kitchen on the first floor, two queen beds and a bathroom with a shower on the second floor.
