Huge selection of canoes and kayaks. The guy working there seemed knowledgeable if quiet. Great collection of paddles and PFD's too. Prices seemed a bit high, but personal service has its price.
What a wonderful group of people who work there. Very courteous and full of tips and insights to make your time there all the more special. We are already planning our next summer vacation and the MountainMan will definitely be one of our stops! Thank you from South Carolina!!!
I have taken my kids kayaking here twice. The employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. We have had a great time both times.

Great place to start your kayak experience ! We dropped off one car off and drove the kayaks upstream and paddled back downstream to mountainman for a nice 3hr paddle ! ! ! They have bathrooms and a well stocked equipment store that sells and rents out what ever you might need ! ! !
