Went to Old Forge to do some hiking with my wife. Hotel suggested Slickers so we gave it a try. Both of us loved the atmosphere and the food. Waitress was very helpful and her suggestions were perfect. Went back the next night and found the same service and great food.
Fun place with a pool table. Friendly service, ok food. We had nachos, piled high, but mostly with chips. Wings were meaty. Pizza seemed frozen.
My family and I had a great experience here. We ordered everything from sandwiches to a fish fry to salad to pizza, and we were pleasantly surprised by how tasty it all was. The meal was complimented by the beautiful weather, outdoor seating, and live music with a decent view of the lake (not to mention some nice summer sangria). This place may not be as "fancy" as some of the restaurants in old forge, but I'd definitely recommend it to any of my friends passing through.
Typical American food at normal prices. The service was excellent and very accommodating to our large party. I had a bacon cheeseburger and onion rings and they were very tasty and satisfying. Great place for a quick bite to the drive home from Old Forge.
Good, friendly service. Good food. We had the lobster mac-n-cheese, Philly cheese steak, a smothered burger & salads. All fine fare that we would get again. Good pub food in a nice pub atmosphere.
